Sam Couvillon
Mayor of Gainesville and a candidate for election to the U.S. House to represent Georgia's 9th Congressional District.
Couvillon is a partner with Norton Agency Insurance's Employee Benefits Division in Gainesville, a position he has held since February 2023. He brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance and employee benefits industry, including previous roles with Turner, Wood & Smith Insurance and New England Financial.
He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1994 with a degree in communications. Couvillon is active in various community organizations, including the United Way of Hall County, Kiwanis Club of Gainesville, and the Gainesville High School Athletic Board.
